Ludovic Booz, was born on June 16,1940 in Aquin, Haiti. Booz is a sculptor and a world renowned painter. He was the first sculptor to use beeswax to treat wood. He was commissioned to do a bronze bust of Francois Duvalier, President Dumarsais Estime and President John F. Kennedy. He has been a member of the Centre d'Art and the Academie des Beaux Arts. His works were prominently featured in exhibitions held in the United States, France, Israel and Surinam.
