Robuste Fagrance Valcin, also known as Valcin II, was born on March 6, 1947 in Gommiers, Haiti. He is the nephew of the legendary Haitian art master Gerard Valcin. Gerard introduced Robuste to the Center d’Art and encouraged him to paint. Valcin’s artwork depicts both sorrow and misery. He has exhibited locally and in Europe.
