Abner Dubic an accomplish artist was born in Leogane, Haiti, November 1, 1948. He is one of Haiti's leading primitive painters. He is known for his depictions of rural landscapes and agricultural scenes. In 1975 exhibitions of his work were sponsored by the well known French writer Andre Malraux in Paris and Auxerre. His works have been sold in many galleries both in Haiti and abroad. Past sales of his works have commanded high prices at the Parke Bernet Auction House in 1975, 77, 78 and 79.
