”Robert Noze a fantastic wood sculptor from Haiti. He was able to carve a figure from a single piece of wood. using an hatchet ( Rache ) . To finish the sculpture he used a technique called” Agreille” . when completed he would sand the work and use melted candle with special chemicals to polish the final work. Robert Noze, Died in 2004 He was 79 years old, in Brooklyn , New York. ."
